The NVECTECH DEFENDER 335 is a thermal scope designed for long-range observation and target identification in darkness, low visibility, and challenging weather conditions. It combines a sensitive 384 × 288 VOx detector, fast 35 mm optics, a high-resolution AMOLED display, integrated navigation sensors, recording capabilities, and advanced adjustment features in a durable aluminum-alloy housing.
High-Sensitivity Thermal Sensor
The 384 × 288 VOx microbolometer features a 12 μm pixel pitch, a 50 Hz frame rate, and NETD of ≤20 mK @ 300 K. The 8–14 μm spectral range provides detailed thermal imaging in darkness and difficult environmental conditions.
35 mm Thermal Optics
The 35 mm F0.8 lens provides 3.3× optical magnification and a focused 7.5° × 5.6° field of view. Smooth digital zoom from 1.0× to 4.0× supports detailed observation and closer inspection of distant targets.
Detection and Recognition
DEFENDER 335 provides a detection range of up to 2,000 meters and a recognition range of up to 1,300 meters. Picture-in-picture mode allows closer examination while maintaining awareness of the wider field of view.
AMOLED Display
The 0.39-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 1024 × 768. Diopter adjustment from −5 to +5 and 45 mm eye relief support comfortable viewing and individual adjustment.
Adjustment and Reticle System
The scope supports automatic and manual adjustment, five adjustment profiles, and 13 reticle options. Available reticle colors include black, white, yellow, blue, green, red, and automatic mode. The system is rated for a maximum recoil force of 10,000 J.
Integrated Functions
DEFENDER 335 includes an AI rangefinder, ballistic calculator, gyroscope, GPS, compass, azimuth sensor, altitude sensor, temperature sensor, CSFBC functionality, RAV, and OSD recording. A laser rangefinder is not included.
Recording and Connectivity
The device provides 64 GB of storage for photos, video recording with audio, and playback. Wireless communication operates in access-point mode. USB Type-C supports data transmission and connection to a compatible eyepiece.
Extended Battery Life
Two replaceable 18650 batteries provide at least 18 hours of operating time, supporting extended observation sessions and convenient battery replacement.
Durable Aluminum-Alloy Construction
The aluminum-alloy body is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water. The device is designed to withstand drops from a height of up to one meter and operates at temperatures from −25°C to +50°C.
