The NVECTECH Defender 325 is a thermal imaging device designed for balanced mid-range observation in darkness and challenging weather conditions. It combines a high-sensitivity VOx thermal sensor, 25 mm optics, a high-resolution AMOLED display, integrated observation tools, extended battery life, and durable aluminum-alloy construction.
High-Sensitivity Thermal Sensor
The 384 × 288 VOx sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD of ≤20 mK @ 300 K detects small temperature differences and provides clear thermal contrast in complex outdoor environments.
25 mm Mid-Range Optics
The 25 mm F0.8 objective lens provides a field of view of 10.5° × 7.9°. The 2.4× base magnification supports structured observation at medium distances, while continuous digital zoom from 1× to 4× provides additional flexibility.
Detection and Recognition Range
The Defender 325 offers a detection range of up to 1,500 meters and a recognition range of up to 1,000 meters, supporting observation across open terrain and other outdoor environments.
AMOLED Display and Observation Tools
The integrated 0.39-inch AMOLED display has a resolution of 1024 × 768. Picture-in-picture, an AI rangefinder, thermal tracking tools, and 13 selectable reticles provide additional support for detailed observation.
Five adjustment profiles, automatic and manual adjustment, and multiple reticle colors allow the display configuration to be adapted to different operating conditions.
Recording and Connectivity
The Defender 325 supports photo capture, video recording with audio, OSD recording, and playback, with 64 GB of internal storage.
Wireless access-point functionality provides wireless connectivity, while the USB Type-C interface supports data transmission and connection to compatible external displays and devices.
Navigation and Environmental Sensors
Integrated GPS, compass, azimuth, altitude, temperature, and gyroscope sensors provide positioning, orientation, and environmental information during observation.
Extended Battery Life
Two replaceable 18650 batteries provide at least 18 hours of operating time. The replaceable battery system allows discharged batteries to be exchanged during extended observation sessions.
Durable Aluminum-Alloy Construction
The Defender 325 features an aluminum-alloy body with IP67 protection against dust and moisture. It is designed to withstand a drop from a height of up to one meter and operates in temperatures from −25°C to +50°C.
With the bracket installed, the device measures 379 × 75 × 110 mm.
